Based on the ancient Bardic system of understanding the universe, the Faery Wicca Tarot, by Kisma K. Stepanich, blends traditional Tarot images with the mystical symbolism of modern Faery Wicca magick.
Faery Wicca traces back to a distant age when gods inhabited the world and the lands and oceans were divided among them. These deities came from the OtherWorld, where they acquired secret knowledge, science, prophecy, and magick, now illustrated in a usable form in the Faery Wicca Tarot.
Unlike any other, this deck has five sections, beginning with forty Element cards, ten each for air, earth, fire, and water. Next come sixteen Helper cards, consisting of a maiden, knight, high king, and high queen for each suit, similar to the court cards. Then come twenty-two Ancient Ones cards, similar to the traditional major arcana. The last sections include the Power card and four Gift of Faery cards.
Together, the eighty-three cards of the Faery Wicca Tarot give you a deck steeped in Irish Faery tradition. Beautifully illustrated by Rene Christine Yates, this deck helps you experience the Faery wisdom first hand.
Included in this set is a 181-page booklet that reveals the meaning of the ancient symbolism, as well as the meanings of each of the cards of the Faery Wicca. The booklet also explains the meanings of each of the cards of the Faery Wicca Tarot. Use it to steep yourself in the Faery tradition.
Of course, to use the Tarot for divinations, you will need various spreads. The booklet includes more than a dozen spreads with a complete analysis of how to use them to help you make positive life changes, determine your best course of action, and awaken greater psychic perception. Publisher Review
The eight-three cards of the Faery Wicca Tarot and the 181-page booklet in this set have two tasks. First, they present a vision of the Tarot with extra cards unique to this deck. This complete system is a wondrous tool for inner transformation, designed to help you make wiser decisions and have a richer journey on your spiritual path.
In order to accomplish this, you will need to know the divinatory meanings of the cards and how to use them in spreads. The booklet explains the meaning of each card and shows how they are used in fifteen different layouts. Examples allow you to see exactly how to use the cards for a variety of purposes.
The second task is to share the magnificent vision of the Faery Wicca, based upon ancient Irish myth and legend. It brings the ancient gods and goddesses to life to guide, comfort, and imbue you with spirituality and power. The symbolism on these cards brings forth that vision in a way that can inspire you to a greater understanding of the Faery Wicca path and a deeper understanding of yourself.
Whether you want Kisma K. Stepanich's Faery Wicca Tarot for its introduction to the Faery Wicca tradition or its usefulness as a divinatory tool, you should get it today.
Testimonials
I highly recommend this deck - for the artwork as well as the wonderful Celtic background, and the gift of peeking into the "other world" and pathworking with them. ~ Bonnie Cehovet is a Tarot Master, a professional Tarot reader with over ten years experience, a Reiki Master/Teacher and a writer. I also have this deck and I love it! The readings are clear and to the point. They are not the gentlest deck I have read with, But I like their way of calling a spade a spade. I also love the accompanying book & it's explanations. I have read the beautiful stories to sick & sleepy people (Children & adults), a few times, to help them settle down.

My primary deck, the extra five cards are an absolutely awesome bonus, however the suits are rather odd, being centered on the element, rather than the symbol. They can be challenging to read at times, and some of the symbolism is altered, which can be difficult for people accustomed to traditional decks. The spreads detailed are extraordinarily helpful, and the art is beautiful. Overall, a very good pick.

I own this deck and I just love the images!! I haven't used them too much, I use rider-waite, but once I learn to read from these (which is confusing a little because of the different names of the cards), I will use them alot! I love decks that look more like art then drawn pictures!

this deck is beautiful. Its symbolism is so much more complex than other decks, and the legends that go along with each of the major arcana and court cards make them that much more intriguing. I find it to be the most honest, insightful deck I own.

Hello A friend gave me a set of Tarot Cards for this holiday season, the set is titled "Faery Wicca Tarot." I have never used anything like this before, and as a result, I'm rather lost as to the meaning of these cards. I very much need instruction, how to use them, how to read them, and what are the best questions to ask, such as future, romance, or what ever else would apply. Thank you for your reply.3 Faron Paschal

I own the deck. For the most part it's great, but there are a few occasional downfalls. I really enjoy it's use, though, all the same.

I was given these cards as a gift from a person whom I hardly knew. He said that he thought these cards were meant for me,just by the short conversations we had had. These cards go with me everywhere. I love them. Turns out, they were just for me. Just a monh ago the cards revealed that a girlfreind of mine was with child during her reading. She took a test a week later and the cards were right!!! Just this friday the doctors told her she was about 7 weeks along!!! WOW!! Hows that for proof for you!!!
